Brand Communications | Corporate Collateral | Print Management
Project Information
Background and Challenge
For years, East Gippsland CMA managed its corporate collateral in-house, primarily to meet functional reporting requirements. However, the lack of a consistent visual identity led to fragmented communication and limited brand recognition. A more cohesive and professionally designed system was required to elevate their public presence and stakeholder engagement.
Solution
We created a flexible and symbolic brand element – ‘woven waves’ – representing the interconnection of East Gippsland’s land, water, flora, fauna and culture. This was supported by a bold, refreshed use of brand colours and a stronger emphasis on showcasing the region’s natural beauty through East Gippsland CMA’s own imagery. The result was a scalable, flexible and consistent brand system ready to be applied across all forms of corporate communication.
Results
A growing suite of unified corporate communication that is visually compelling, brand-consistent, and regionally authentic. From reports to presentations, every item is now a clear expression of East Gippsland CMA’s identity — strengthening brand recognition and connection, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and helping East Gippsland CMA express its mission with greater clarity and impact.
We partnered with East Gippsland CMA to develop their 2024 East Gippsland Biodiversity and Agricultural Natural Capital Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan — a comprehensive 220-page document detailing a range of environmental emergency scenarios and response strategies. To support clarity and consistency throughout the report, we also designed a suite of custom ‘emergency scenario icons’ to visually differentiate and reinforce each scenario category.
We also supported East Gippsland CMA in the development of their Corporate Plan 2025–2030. This strategic document outlines the organisation’s priorities and intended outcomes, providing transparency and accountability to government, stakeholders, and the broader Gippsland community regarding the use of public investment.
We also developed a series of five Estuary Opening fact sheets, designed to inform and educate stakeholders about the management of these dynamic natural systems. Estuaries hold substantial environmental, cultural, social, and economic value for local communities, including areas of deep cultural significance for Traditional Owners.
